Description
This is a sculpture I made last year, not sure why I didn't post it until now..
Anyways, I wanted to reimagine a grim reaper like spirit, some sort of ghost of death. I wanted it to look different than a normal being of death, contrasting the general black cloaked grim reaper with a white abstract soul creature.
The designs on it I kept simple and wanted to seem decorative but yet there for a purpose.
The spirit is partly rising out of the skull steed it rides upon. I was trying to create something different than the normal skeleton horse ride and I came up with a design with the jawbone of a skull becoming the legs for the thing. This doesn't show the legs as good as I would like but it stands on it's own well enough.
